Made-to-Measure Vision Blinds in Crowthorne and Sandhurst, Berkshire

Stylish Vision Blinds Manufactured, Measured and Fitted by Experts

Transform your windows with made to measure Vision Blinds from Blinds and Awnings UK Ltd.

Vision Blinds, also known as day and night blinds, offer a stylish and versatile way to control natural light and privacy. Their unique combination of alternating translucent and opaque fabric sections allows you to adjust the blind throughout the day, creating different levels of light and privacy without completely opening or closing the blind.

With a contemporary appearance and a wide choice of colours and fabrics, Vision Blinds are an excellent choice for bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, home offices and other areas throughout your home.

Based in Crowthorne, Berkshire, we manufacture many of our blinds in our own workshop and provide a professional measuring and fitting service across Berkshire and surrounding areas, including Wokingham, Bracknell, Camberley, Reading, Ascot, Windsor, Maidenhead, Yateley, Farnborough and Fleet.

Free, no-obligation quotations are available.

What Are Vision Blinds?

Vision Blinds are a modern style of roller blind made using alternating bands of translucent and opaque fabric.

As the blind is operated, these bands move across each other, allowing you to control the amount of light entering the room and the level of privacy you require.

The fabric can be positioned so that:

  • Translucent sections allow natural daylight into the room
  • Opaque sections provide greater privacy
  • The blind can be closed for increased privacy and light control
  • The blind can be raised completely when you want an unobstructed view

This flexibility makes Vision Blinds an excellent alternative to conventional roller blinds.

Vision Blinds, Day and Night Blinds

You may hear Vision Blinds referred to by several different names, including:

  • Vision Blinds
  • Day and Night Blinds
  • Day & Night Blinds
  • Dual Roller Blinds
  • Double Roller Blinds
  • Duo Blinds

While terminology can vary between manufacturers and suppliers, these styles generally use alternating fabric bands to provide flexible light and privacy control.

If you're searching for day and night blinds near me or Vision Blinds in Berkshire, our team can help you explore the available options and choose a style suitable for your windows.

Why Choose Vision Blinds?

Vision Blinds combine the simplicity of a roller blind with flexible control over light and privacy.

Flexible Light Control

Adjust the position of the fabric bands to allow more or less natural light into your room.

Improved Privacy

The opaque sections can be aligned to reduce visibility into your home while still allowing some natural daylight through the translucent sections.

Contemporary Design

The clean horizontal fabric bands create a modern appearance that works particularly well in contemporary interiors.

Wide Choice of Fabrics

Choose from a variety of colours, textures and fabric finishes to coordinate your blinds with your existing décor.

Made to Measure

Our Vision Blinds are manufactured to your window measurements, helping to achieve a precise fit and professional finish.

Made to Measure Vision Blinds

Bedroom Vision Blinds

Vision Blinds for Bay Windows

Bay windows can be challenging to dress because they often contain several individual window sections.

Made to measure Vision Blinds for bay windows can provide a coordinated appearance while allowing each section to be operated independently.

Our professional measuring service ensures each blind is manufactured to suit the individual dimensions and configuration of your bay window.

A Wide Choice of Vision Blind Colours and Fabrics

Your blinds should complement your interior.

We offer a wide selection of Vision Blind colours, fabrics, textures and finishes, allowing you to create anything from a subtle neutral look to a stronger contemporary feature.

Popular choices include:

  • Neutral tones
  • Grey shades
  • Cream and beige
  • White
  • Natural colours
  • Contemporary darker shades
  • Textured fabrics
  • Patterned options

Our team can show you fabric samples and help you select an option that works with your furniture, flooring and overall interior design.

Vision Blinds for Privacy and Light Control

One of the main advantages of Vision Blinds is the flexibility they provide.

Traditional roller blinds are generally either open or closed. Vision Blinds allow you to adjust the relationship between the translucent and opaque fabric bands.

This means you can:

  • Allow natural daylight into the room
  • Reduce glare
  • Maintain privacy
  • Increase privacy when required
  • Control the amount of sunlight entering the room
  • Create different effects throughout the day

This makes Vision Blinds particularly useful for rooms where privacy and natural daylight are both important.

Motorised Vision Blinds

For selected applications, we can also advise on motorised Vision Blinds.

Motorisation can be particularly useful for large windows, hard-to-reach windows or multiple blinds.

Depending on the system selected, motorised blinds can be operated at the touch of a button and may also be integrated with compatible smart-home systems.

Our team can discuss your requirements and advise whether motorisation is suitable for your windows.

We manufacture many of our products in our Crowthorne, Berkshire workshop, allowing us to provide bespoke solutions tailored to individual requirements.

  2. To clean an Awning, first ensure that the fabric is fully extended. Use a mix of warm water and detergent-free soap as well as a microfibre cloth to gently wipe the Awning clean; Then allow time for the fabric to dry completely. We recommend cleaning your Awning at least twice a year; Once before using it in the summer and again before you’ve rolled it up for winter, we also recommend wiping the metal components and fittings twice a year with a soft cloth dampened with warm soapy water.
  3. Tackle stubborn stains by using a specialist fabric stain remover or mild detergent and make sure you follow the manufacturer’s instructions closely. Test a modest area of your awning fabric first if you’re in any doubt.
  4. Please don't use a pressure washer or bleach It will quickly damage the structure of the fabric.

Can Awning Be Used in Winter?

  1. Our awnings are water resistant and can handle light rain just fine; But they are not designed to withstand some of the more extreme conditions in winter such as heavy rain, wind and snow.
  2. We recommend minimal use of the Awning throughout winter
  3. we also recommend removing the decorative fabric valance and storing it somewhere dry until the warmer weather returns.

Are Awnings Wind and rainproof?

  1. Although water resistant and durable, our retractable Awnings are not designed for heavy rain as this can pool on the fabric and substantially increase the Awning’s weight.
  2. We strongly recommend leaving the Awning fully retracted on windy days or during heavy rainfall.
